New Partnerships Manager
- Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 plus benefits
- Reports to: Senior New Partnerships Manager
- Directorate: Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement
- Contract: 12-month fixed-term
- Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements, such as compressed hours, will be considered.
- Location: Stratford, London. Flexible working available, with 1-2 days per week in the office.

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Partnerships Manager to join our team. This role focuses on building high-value partnerships with corporates and commercial entities, aiming to raise income and awareness in support of our mission to beat cancer sooner.
You will take ownership of developing a pipeline of prospective partners, using creativity and passion to craft compelling pitches and partnership packages. Your goal will be to secure partnerships that are mutually beneficial for both the organisation and our partners.
While experience in charity partnerships is not a prerequisite, we seek a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong commercial background and proven ability to deliver. In this role, you will gain experience working across diverse sectors, engaging with stakeholders at all levels (from managers to C-suite), and managing your prospect pipeline from initiation to deal closure, all while contributing to our mission to beat cancer sooner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a pipeline of potential partners aligned with CRUK’s strategy and the Partnerships Team’s objectives.
- Progress prospects through the sales pipeline, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with Partnerships Managers to support new partnership acquisitions and grow existing relationships.
- Work closely with Senior New Partnerships Managers to provide insights into your focus area and identify sector or industry-specific opportunities.
- Oversee the successful transition of new partnerships to the Partnership Management team.
- Design tailored, compelling partnership plans and proposals that align with both prospect objectives and CRUK’s strategic goals.
- Lead pitches and application processes, working collaboratively to deliver outcomes through a matrix-style approach.
- Build networks and establish relationships within external organisations to influence decision-makers and secure opportunities.
