About this Role
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior Pharmacy Technician (System Support/Informatics) to work closely with the Lead EPMA Pharmacist, Pharmacy IT Systems Manager and the Digital Critical Care Project team to help manage a Critical Care Electronic Patient Record System at the Aintree and Royal hospital sites. You will coordinate configuration of the prescribing drug file, implement governance for the system including guidelines and standard operating procedures, deliver training for pharmacy staff, and liaise between software suppliers and Trust IT teams. Main duties include routine maintenance and support of pharmacy IT systems, data quality and reporting for the Stock Control and Electronic Prescribing & Medicines Administration systems, and leading developments of pharmacy IT systems. Essential: QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, GPhC registration, and demonstrable experience with pharmacy electronic prescribing systems.
