About this Role
Loxley Hall School is looking for a Residential Support Worker to join its Residential Provision, helping create positive experiences for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The role involves building trust and confidence with young people as a keyworker, supporting life skills such as cooking and personal development, delivering activities like cinema trips, bowling and crafts, preparing meals, completing at least one paid sleep-in per week, and supporting in school one day per week. No previous experience is required as full training is provided, and the role offers no weekends or school holidays for a strong work-life balance. Essential requirements include a driving licence for transporting children in school vehicles, patience and energy, and safeguarding awareness with an enhanced DBS check required.
