About this Role
Optimised Care is looking for an experienced Clinical Coder to join its growing team, ensuring the accuracy and quality of clinical information. The role involves accurately translating patient diagnoses, procedures and treatments into nationally recognised clinical codes using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications, reviewing inpatient, day case and outpatient medical records, and liaising with consultants and clinical teams to clarify incomplete or ambiguous documentation. The successful candidate will hold an Accredited Clinical Coding Standards Course (ACCS) qualification or equivalent and have proven experience within the NHS or independent healthcare sector.
