About this Role
The Isle of Wight College is recruiting an Aerospace Tutor and Skills Coach to join its engineering teaching team in Newport. The college is the Island’s leading provider of further education, technical training and apprenticeships, supporting learners of all ages to develop the skills they need to succeed. The successful candidate will have recent aerospace industry experience and a passion for developing others. You may already be working in training and education, or you may be an experienced aerospace engineer, fitter, technician or manufacturing specialist looking to take the next step in your career. Most importantly, you will be able to bring aerospace engineering to life, explain complex technical concepts clearly, and inspire learners to achieve their full potential. Full support is provided to attain the teaching qualification relevant to the role. This is a permanent, full-time post of 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), which can also be undertaken as a job share, with a start date as soon as possible. Please note that visas cannot be sponsored for this role.
