Cross-functional Lead: Safeguarding, SEND & Investigations

About this Role

St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust’s central team is seeking a Cross-functional Lead: Safeguarding, SEND & Investigations. The role provides targeted, specialist operational capacity supporting the Governance team with complex Safeguarding and SEND cases and investigations, helping to manage risk, and supporting continuous improvement across the Trust’s Performance and Governance functions. The Trust is seeking someone with a good understanding of complaints procedures and governance frameworks, experience of working within schools, a multi-academy trust or a local authority, experience of managing complex and/or sensitive investigations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risk, patterns and themes, and excellent communication skills including managing sensitive situations with families and stakeholders.
