Join the friendly back of house team at Brighton Dome & Festivals in these varied and dynamic roles, ensuring artists, clients and visitors have the best possible experience of Brighton Dome’s historic destination venues. Visitor Services Assistants are at the centre of event activity, with duties including Stage Door cover, furniture and room set-ups, Fire Warden responsibilities, parking, back of house security, health and safety, and general housekeeping. You will work a variable shift pattern spanning daytime, evening and weekends in line with event requirements, with shifts typically ranging from 6 to 12 hours and working hours falling between 8am and 2am. The role requires the ability to remain physically mobile for up to 6-8 hours per shift, including lifting and moving objects in line with manual handling guidelines. The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for the manual aspects of the role as well as excellent customer service skills and demonstrable experience working in a practical role in a venue, arts or entertainment setting. Hours fluctuate with the season, with a typical peak-season week around 30 hours rising to 35+ during Brighton Festival in May.
