Cluster People Officer – Primary

About this role

As Cluster People Officer, you will be the trusted first point of contact for school leaders and managers, providing practical, solutions-focused support across a wide range of people matters. You will work closely with the People Team, Headteachers and leadership teams to ensure our colleagues receive a high-quality HR service that is professional, consistent and people-centred.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day advice on employee relations matters, attendance management, probation, capability and flexible working.

• Supporting managers with absence management and staff wellbeing initiatives.

• Coordinating recruitment campaigns, onboarding and safer recruitment processes.

• Preparing HR documentation and supporting formal meetings where required.

• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding requirements and Trust policies.

• Building productive relationships across schools and central support services.
