This role plays a critical part in the development, delivery, and ongoing support of finance systems across the business, with a strong focus on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications.
You’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of finance system initiatives — from requirements analysis and solution design through to testing, training, implementation, and post-go-live support. You will also help embed new solutions into day-to-day finance operations while ensuring strong governance and control standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver functional system changes across Oracle EPM tools, including Planning (PBCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Finance Consolidation and Close (FCC), and Narrative Reporting
Resolve functional and technical system issues and manage support tickets
Support data integrations, validation, and reconciliation processes
Maintain finance system controls, governance, and documentation standards
Work closely with finance and non-finance stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver training, and produce clear user guides
Analyse and map complex finance processes and system architectures
Contribute to future finance systems roadmap initiatives, including tools such as Account Reconciliation and Tax Cloud
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a Finance Systems Accountant or similar role
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud applications or equivalent on-premise tools (e.g. Hyperion Planning, HFM, MDM)
Demonstrated experience in planning model design, FCC primary statements, dimensionality design, forms, reports, dashboards, Smart View, business rules, calculations, and integrations
Understanding of financial control, governance, and risk frameworks
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
High proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project
Oracle / Hyperion certifications and a relevant degree are desirable but not essential
