About this Role
Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is recruiting two Medical Writers to join the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre (AWTTC) — one permanent post and one 16-month fixed-term/secondment post. The role works at a national level within a multi-disciplinary team, providing technical, scientific, data and analytical support and medical writer support to the Medicines Optimisation and Welsh Analytical Prescribing Support Unit (WAPSU) teams. Applicants from science, pharmacy or healthcare backgrounds are welcomed. Essential requirements include a life science degree and postgraduate diploma or equivalent, report writing and editorial skills, critical appraisal skills, and experience of literature searching and evaluation. Welsh language skills are desirable; Welsh and English speakers are equally welcome. Agenda for Change Band 6.
