About this Role
Defra’s Centre for Environmental Resilience and Efficiency in Government (CEREG) is recruiting an Environment Resilience Lead to support sustainability activity across government, spanning climate mitigation and adaptation, nature recovery, circular economy and sustainability data and insights. You’ll lead projects and change initiatives with other government departments and arms-length bodies, analyse evidence to generate strategic insight, draft policy and briefing notes for diverse audiences including ministers, and provide contract management for third-party suppliers. Priority work includes delivery of the Government Estate Nature Plan and the Cross-Government Decarbonisation Pathway.
