Events & Operations Manager (Maternity Cover)

About this Role

Norden Farm, a multi-arts venue in Maidenhead with a gallery, studio theatre, main auditorium, cafe bar and 18th century Long Barn, is recruiting an Events and Operations Manager on a maternity cover contract. This is a busy and varied role combining practical operational work with administration. You will manage facility hire for artistic, community and commercial clients, act as lead contact for venue hirers and coordinate with Front of House, Catering and Technical teams to deliver events smoothly. The role line manages the Events & Operations Assistant and the Front of House team, maintains systems and procedures including legal contracts and licences, coordinates HR with an external provider, prepares Board reports, manages external building contractors and oversees the key control system. Candidates need at least four years’ experience in venue operations, events, hospitality or the cultural sector, demonstrable line management experience, and a proactive, organised approach. Some evening shifts are required.
