About this Role

BBC iPlayer is looking for a Head of Operations to lead content and business operations initiatives for the UK’s leading streaming service. Reporting to the General Manager of BBC iPlayer, the role covers managing editorial processes, systems and operations, planning major content and business programmes, and specifying tools to help teams optimise productivity. You will lead new operational initiatives supporting strategic projects, adapt workflows for new content types, directly manage the iPlayer Image Design team, and help develop an optimised operating model and governance process. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of content operations within a media or streaming organisation, a strong background in defining operational processes, excellent problem-solving credentials, and a track record of collaborative working across a complex organisation.
