About this Role

Corporate Digital & Applications (CDA) builds the BBC’s internal tools, including the mobile apps and services that BBC colleagues rely on every day. As a Junior iOS Engineer comfortable with Swift and SwiftUI, you will help shape, design, build and maintain those iPhone apps. The CDA Mobile team is a friendly, flexible, start-up-style group whose flagship newsgathering app lets BBC journalists and programme makers record and send pictures and sound back to any BBC base from anywhere in the world – content that can reach TV, radio and BBC News digital services within minutes. The team also builds apps enabling live broadcasts from an iPhone and tools that help colleagues find each other, stay safe and carry out everyday tasks. The role is open to any BBC UK base or remote working.
