About this Role
The BBC’s Generative AI Team is looking for a Lead AI Engineer to help the BBC make practical use of AI tools and systems to solve business problems. You’ll collaborate with project managers, data scientists, analysts and technical teams to build data pipelines and technical solutions that move AI projects from piloting through to successful handover for scaling. Responsibilities include designing secure, reliable LLM-based workflows, establishing strong engineering practices for data quality and resilience, and providing technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers as the BBC adopts AI in a practical and responsible way.
