About this Role
The BBC is seeking a Non-executive Board Member to bring an external perspective to the Board, contributing to strategy and organisational change while ensuring decisions are made in the public interest. Board members are responsible for upholding the BBC’s independence, setting strategic direction and budget, and ensuring effective stewardship of public money. The role requires experience of top-level leadership, board-level governance, and a strong understanding of the media landscape. The appointment is for up to four years, with the possibility of renewal for one additional term. This process is being managed by Russell Reynolds on behalf of the BBC.
