Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Philanthropy Manager to join its Fundraising Team in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Your primary focus will be acquiring new major donors and building a strong pipeline of high-net-worth individuals capable of making transformational gifts, identifying, researching and engaging prospective supporters and developing compelling opportunities that inspire five and six-figure donations. Working closely with the Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will secure new philanthropic income and develop long-term partnerships, manage a portfolio of major donor prospects, develop tailored funding proposals and donor presentations, represent Centrepoint at networking and cultivation events, and maintain accurate records on Raiser’s Edge. Centrepoint is looking for a relationship-focused fundraiser with a track record of securing five-figure gifts, experience developing major donor pipelines, excellent networking and influencing skills, strong written communication and knowledge of fundraising compliance and best practice.
