About this Role
London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a Principal Genetic Counsellor to lead specialist genetic counselling services within Prenatal and Rare Disease Genomics at St Mark’s Hospital. As a senior autonomous practitioner, the postholder will provide expert genetic counselling, risk assessment, genomic test coordination and clinical management of a highly specialised caseload, supporting individuals, couples and families affected by or at risk of genetic conditions. Working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary Clinical Genetics Service, they will provide leadership for prenatal and rare disease pathways and contribute to strategic service development, workforce development, education, audit, research and quality improvement, collaborating closely with fetal medicine, obstetric, maternity, neonatal and paediatric colleagues.
