About this Role
Barnardo’s is seeking a Consultant in Public Health/Public Health Medicine to lead its Public Health and Health Inequalities team, designing, implementing and evaluating strategies to reduce disparities in health outcomes for children, young people and families. The role involves leading public health programme development aligned with national health priorities, line managing the Health Inequalities and Health Visiting leads, and deputising for the Director of Health. Candidates must hold GMC/GDC/UKPHR Specialist Register status or equivalent public health medicine experience.
