About this Role

Join the centralised Clinical Coding Team at Royal Berkshire Hospital, which determines the clinical coding of around 12,000 episodes of care per month using a fully electronic medical record. Responsible for ensuring high standards of coding accuracy, efficiency and compliance with national guidelines, extracting and coding complex clinical information relating to diagnoses and operations using ICD10 and OPCS4 classification standards. NCCQ qualification preferred, with candidates required to pass a practical clinical coding assessment at second interview stage.
