Senior Project Manager, GenAI Programme

About this Role

The Senior Project Manager will help deliver the BBC’s organisation-wide approach to Generative AI, working across a range of internally and externally facing projects including industry partnerships. Sitting within the BBC Group Strategy and Transformation department, the role is responsible for analysis, planning and delivery against BBC priorities in a complex and fast-evolving landscape. Key responsibilities include managing Gen AI projects from direction through to clear plans, milestones and decisions; leading initiatives involving external partners and other media organisations; delivering analysis of AI market developments and translating them into practical implications for the BBC; and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The BBC is looking for candidates with experience delivering strategic projects, external partnerships or cross-functional programmes, a good understanding of the AI landscape and its implications for media and audiences, and strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. The role is based in London on a hybrid basis with three working days in the office.
