We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Witham that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Science Teacher to join their Humanities department. Job Overview:
* This school caters for students aged 11-16.
* Full-time, Monday – Friday, Social Science Teacher role.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Social Science lessons across KS3-KS4.
* Teach subjects such as Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, or related Humanities subjects.
* Inspire students through current affairs, social issues, and human behaviour topics.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure strong attainment.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team.
* Support students of varying abilities through differentiated teaching strategies.
* Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.

What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Social Sciences at secondary level (KS3-KS4).
* A passion for Social Sciences and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
