We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Witham that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Science Teacher to join their Humanities department. This Witham school is committed to delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to explore society, behaviour, health, and human development in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Overview:
* This school caters for students aged 11-16.
* Full-time, Monday – Friday, Social Science Teacher role.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Social Science lessons across KS3-KS4.
* Teach subjects such as Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, or related Humanities subjects.
* Inspire students through current affairs, social issues, and human behaviour topics.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure strong attainment.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team.
* Support students of varying abilities through differentiated teaching strategies.
* Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.

What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Social Sciences at secondary level (KS3-KS4).
* A passion for Social Sciences and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
