About this Role
UCLH is recruiting a data analyst to join its Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Team — a large multi-professional body of IPC clinical nurse specialists, an epidemiologist, a surveillance team, microbiologists, virologists and clinical scientists. Reporting to the lead nurse for surgical site surveillance and the Senior Nurses for IPC, the postholder will gather, analyse and report infection data including blood stream and surgical site infections, and support IPC nurses in collecting, reporting and interpreting clinical audit data to drive improvements across the Trust. Essential requirements include a degree or equivalent, an interest in infection-related work, and proven experience with relational databases, R and SQL Server. Power BI and NHS information analysis experience are desirable. Agenda for Change Band 5, 12-month fixed term.
