About this Role
DCMS’s Cultural Property team is looking for a Head of Cultural Property to lead policy protecting and promoting the UK’s cultural property, working with Arts Council England on schemes including export licensing, the Government Indemnity Scheme, Cultural Gift Scheme and Immunity from Seizure. The role also covers sponsorship of the UK art market and leading a team of four across museum and cultural property policy areas, including high-profile issues such as restitution claims for objects like the Parthenon Sculptures.
