About this Role
The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra is recruiting a Principal 2nd Violin to join Scotland’s national broadcasting orchestra at City Halls, Glasgow. The role involves leading the second violin section, maintaining artistic excellence, supporting Leaders and the Chief Conductor, and preparing solo and full orchestral repertoire to the highest professional standard. The BBC SSO performs across Scotland, the UK and internationally, with regular broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, Radio Scotland, Sounds, and BBC Television.
