BBC News Northern Ireland is appointing three Senior Journalists (Producers) to work initially within its Digital News team in Belfast, working across the news website, social media and radio news bulletins. You will lead daily production meetings, assign tasks to journalists, reporters and researchers, commission output, deploy resources cost-effectively, and contribute to original journalism while handling complex legal and editorial issues. The role calls for first-class production skills, strong news judgement, creative storytelling, excellent contact-building, and in-depth knowledge of politics and current affairs affecting Northern Ireland and beyond, with digital storytelling at the forefront.
