About this Role
The BFI is looking for a Volunteers Coordinator to support all aspects of administration and organisation of the volunteer resource at the BFI London Film Festival. The Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling, training, supervising and supporting festival volunteers. Duties include liaising with festival departments to understand their needs and provide details of volunteers assigned to their events, raising staff awareness of the role and function of volunteers, ensuring appropriate support and training is in place, and leading on organising and uploading shifts to the volunteer platform. Candidates will bring experience gained within a cultural organisation, events or a related organisation in a similar role working with volunteers, strong customer service and issue-resolution skills, and demonstrable experience in information and data management using databases including Excel, StaffSavvy and Airtable.
