About this Role
Glory Farm Primary School in Bicester is seeking compassionate, proactive and dedicated professionals to join its Inclusion Team, either as one individual undertaking a dual Home School Link Worker and ELSA role (13.5 hours per week), or as two individuals each undertaking one role separately (Home School Link Worker 7.5 hours, ELSA 6 hours). As Home School Link Worker you will support families of disadvantaged, SEND and vulnerable children, working alongside the Senior Leadership Team to improve attendance and punctuality, building positive relationships with parents and carers, providing parenting advice and practical assistance, undertaking home visits, signposting families to appropriate services, and supporting or leading Team Around the Family processes. As ELSA you will provide targeted emotional literacy support through individual and small-group interventions, supporting the school’s trauma-informed approach, helping children develop emotional awareness and vocabulary, manage stress, grief, anger and conflict, and build self-esteem, confidence and resilience. The school is looking for someone calm, empathetic and patient, with experience in a school or educational setting and of supporting children with SEND, behavioural, emotional or mental health needs. Essential qualifications include GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above; ELSA applicants must hold a recognised ELSA qualification.
