About this Role
The Richmond upon Thames School (RTS), an ambitious and forward-thinking secondary academy in Richmond, London, is seeking a compassionate, organised and resilient Student Wellbeing Coordinator to join its Inclusion Team. This is a vital pastoral, health and welfare role focused on ensuring that every student is known, supported and able to thrive. Working with senior leaders, staff, parents and carers and external agencies, the successful candidate will promote students’ wellbeing, attendance and engagement in school life. The Student Wellbeing Coordinator supports identified students and year groups, responds appropriately to welfare concerns, and helps students overcome barriers to learning. Duties include maintaining accurate records, contributing to wellbeing and attendance interventions, and supporting behaviour and reintegration strategies. The school is looking for someone with experience of working with young people, ideally in a school or educational setting, who builds positive professional relationships with students and families. The post is permanent, full time, term time only plus two weeks. Visas cannot be sponsored for this role.
