About this Role
Bristol Academy of Drama is looking for a fun, creative and reliable Assistant Drama Facilitator to support drama sessions, workshops and performances. Working alongside the Drama Facilitators, you will help create engaging and supportive sessions where children aged 4-18 feel confident exploring their creativity, developing performance skills alongside confidence, teamwork and self-expression. The role covers weekly term-time classes, holiday workshops, preparing students for performances and joining the backstage team for annual productions. Work is on a flexible rota agreed around your availability, with a minimum of around four hours a week during term time and additional whole days during school holidays and performance weekends. Candidates should be enthusiastic and passionate about drama, confident communicating with children and young people, patient, reliable and comfortable working as part of a team; experience of drama teaching, youth theatre or backstage work is desirable.
