Cover Supervisor

About this Role

St Joseph’s Catholic School in Salisbury is seeking a Cover Supervisor to play a key role in supporting pupils in their learning during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will facilitate a calm and productive classroom environment, supervise classes and deliver pre-set work, promote positive behaviour and maintain classroom discipline, and support pupils to stay on task. The role also involves assisting with extra-curricular activities and providing supervision during breaks, lunchtimes and school events. Start date: 1st September 2026. • Relevant experience or qualifications in Teaching
• Ability to work in or commute to Salisbury, Wiltshire
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
