About this Role
The External Affairs and Policy Advisor (EAPA) for CPS Cymru-Wales is responsible for developing and delivering a coherent, ambitious CPS Strategic Partnerships Strategy for Wales, promoting public confidence in line with CPS 2030. This highly visible Grade 7 role works directly with CPS senior leaders, Welsh Ministers, Parliamentarians, and other senior stakeholders. You will engage with the Welsh Government, Senedd, and policing partners; define and evaluate the CPS parliamentary and cross-government strategy in Wales; and advise on the implications of devolution for policy and CPS services. Candidates must have experience working on criminal justice issues and familiarity with laws, statutory frameworks, or parliamentary processes. Welsh language ability is desirable.
