About this Role
The BBC Board is seeking a Non-executive Director to bring an external perspective to the business of the BBC and contribute to the development of effective strategy and organisational change. Board members are collectively responsible for ensuring the BBC effectively, efficiently and independently exercises its functions under the Royal Charter, including setting strategic direction and budget, monitoring performance, and holding management to account. Non-executive directors provide independent, objective challenge to management and play a role in maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance.
