About this Role

Shirley High School Performing Arts College in Croydon is looking for an enthusiastic Seclusion Unit Manager with the skills, enthusiasm and organisation to run its Seclusion Unit. This vital pastoral role helps ensure that all pupils are fully prepared to return to mainstream lessons and do not demonstrate further behaviour that falls short of the school’s high expectations. Shirley High School is a multicultural school with an established reputation for integrity and excellence, reporting improved academic results, growing pupil numbers and more pupils progressing to university including Russell Group and Oxbridge institutions. The school has invested over £1.5 million in facilities, site improvements and resources. Staff benefit from a leafy site with excellent transport links to London and the surrounding areas, an onsite gym and ample free parking. The role is term-time only at 36 hours per week over 39 weeks. A full enhanced DBS check is required and visas cannot be sponsored.
