About this Role
BBC Studios is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join its Data Insights team, working across all BBC Studios lines of business. The role is central to driving data education and cultural change, developing capabilities such as automated tagging and metadata solutions to enhance discoverability and recommendations. Responsibilities include building data-driven decision-making tools, selecting appropriate algorithmic approaches, taking solutions from proof of concept to production, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business. Candidates should have experience in data science, a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or a related field, strong Python and SQL skills, and experience building and deploying machine learning models.
