About this Role
St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Trust Literacy and Oracy Development Partner to lead the improvement of early reading, literacy and language outcomes across its primary schools. The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status and bring a strong track record of raising literacy attainment, with significant experience of Read Write Inc. Phonics and supporting its implementation in schools. The role involves coaching, mentoring and training teachers, teaching assistants and school leaders, and requires secure knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics, reading development, vocabulary acquisition, language development, fluency and comprehension. Experience of supporting literacy improvement across more than one school or leading whole-school literacy strategy is essential. This is a part-time leadership position covering Early Years through to Key Stage 4, based in Liverpool.
