Job Summary
The London Clinic is offering an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join its Day Surgery Unit. This role offers a competitive salary package ranging from £27,143 to £31,000 annually. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a prestigious healthcare setting located in central London.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of holistic care while respecting patients’ individual needs, privacy, and dignity.
- Conduct clinical observations, including monitoring patients’ respiration rate, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and fluid balance, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Provide assistance with patients’ personal care needs, including hygiene, elimination, mobility, comfort, eating, and drinking, while observing and reporting any changes in their condition.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the multidisciplinary team, patients, visitors, and other hospital departments.
- Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the ward environment and adhere to The London Clinic’s infection control policies.
- Participate in unit-specific and clinic-wide projects aimed at improving the quality of care and services.
