Take charge and lead a high-performing procurement team in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management. This role is key in driving cost savings, mitigating risks, and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Design and execute a robust procurement strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Team Management: Inspire and guide a team of procurement professionals, nurturing a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Complex Procurement: Oversee intricate procurement projects, including tenders, negotiations, and contract management.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to maximize performance and achieve cost efficiency.
• Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to optimize supplier performance.
• Risk Management: Proactively address supply chain risks through strong contract terms and contingency planning.
• Compliance: Ensure full adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and procedures.
• Innovation: Promote continuous improvement and innovative practices within the procurement function.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven success in leading procurement teams and achieving results.
• Strong skills in negotiation and influencing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• CIPS qualification or equivalent.
