Role Summary
As a Scrub Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a professional and collaborative operating theatre environment. The position involves adhering to organisational policies, promoting evidence-based best practices, and contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub duties in line with established policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
- Participate in mandatory surgical safety checks before, during, and after procedures, including pre-wound closure.
- Assemble, inspect, prepare, and manage surgical instruments, equipment, medications, and consumables for diverse operative procedures.
- Act as a circulating practitioner, ensuring seamless teamwork among healthcare professionals while prioritising patient-centred care.
- Consistently uphold professionalism and proficiency in all tasks.
